About this opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and forward-thinking senior manager to join the Consumer Lending Chief Controls Office. In this role, you will:
- Lead key initiatives to improve our non-financial control environment.
- Embed control by design and advance control automation within Consumer Lending.
- Support Consumer Lending in identifying opportunities to simplify, optimise, and automate controls using innovative technology.
- Support Consumer Lending in achieving strategic goals and delivering faster, more efficient services for our customers.

What you'll need
- Leadership: Ability to inspire and lead a team towards achieving strategic goals.

- Problem-Solving: Aptitude for identifying issues and developing effective solutions.

- Adaptability: Being flexible and open to change, especially in a challenging environment.
It would also be great if you have:
- Risk and Control Management: Robust understanding of the Risk and Control Management Framework with practical control management knowledge and experience.
- End to End Risk and Control mapping - Delivering prescribed outcomes by working with established control design, mapping, monitoring and testing approaches.
- Control by Design (CbD) - An understanding of the Control by Design Methodology.
- Platform Change Framework (PCF) - Knowledge of PCF and how change is delivered within the Group.
- RCSA - Experience using the RCSA system and working with risk and control owner teams.
