What You Will Be Doing
• Protect company information and programs by executing security controls to prevent hacking attempts.
• Research and propose solutions to address any attempted security breaches.
• Manage security systems, enforce security policies, and control access to systems.
• Administer and update company firewall and utilize encryption methods where applicable.
• Create information security documentation and complete requests in line with company requirements.
• Respond to information security-related questions using established tools and procedures.
• Resolve information security issues and ensure their proper resolution.
• Implement and manage information security controls using software and vendor security systems.
• Understand and improve workflow, quantifying the impact on business and communicating it to management.
• Collaborate with users to understand their security needs and develop procedures to accommodate them. Ensure that users are aware of and follow necessary security procedures.
• Provide status reports on security matters, develop security risk analysis scenarios, and response procedures.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
What You Bring
• Knowledge of network technologies, protocols, and access control.

• Knowledge of network design and engineering.

Educational Requirements
