JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Source the quality and cost effective raw material, packaging material and Non Trade for Group.
• Evaluate and assess New supplier. Monitor performance / audit existing supplier.
• Negotiate with supplier on price/service.
• Monitor the price trend and material demand/supply in market.
• Involve in new product/project. Coordinate and plan out qty needed and advise supplier.
• To check and verify SST report.
• Resolve product quality issue with supplier.
• To plan / liaise with supplier and ensure sufficiency of raw and packaging material to cover for future production use.
• To handle license/permit/MIDA/MITI/Customs & meeting with Government Officers.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies / Administration / Management / Supply Chain / Logistics or equivalent
  Industrial Background Preferred.
• Min 4 years experience in the Food & beverage manufacturing industry.
• At least 6 years experience for Procurement Executive role.
• Required skills : ERP and MS Office (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word)
• Able to work independently to meet tight deadlines, resourceful and multi-task
• Ability in problem-solving, strong time management skills with a passion for learning

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the Company’s procurement policies, end-to-end procedures, standards and strategies.
• Manage procurement which prepares purchase order with a goal of controlling cost, product quality, and vendor delivery.
• Works closely with key stakeholders to make informed decisions relative to economical procurements such as compile/Request product specifications, sources of product, quotations, analyse results and presents recommendations.
• Conducts supplier/warehouse visits, analyse delivery performance (e.g., Quality of goods) and publishes results internally.
• Identify new vendors to source best value considering price, availability, and logistic requirements.
• Liaise with operation manager and camp boss to ensure provision requisition is in line with project requirement as well as project budget.
• Assist internal and external parties with procurement related paperwork as necessary.
• Must ensure quality and safety standards are adhered to at all times, including chemical handling standards, halal/Islamic requirements.
• Review and monitor vessel ROB and POB status for purchase order requirements.
• Oversee and ensure that all invoices are correctly matched to PO and DO.
• Oversee and ensure that all invoices are approved by the relevant person and passed to accounts in a timely manner.
• Maintaining accurate reports that include photos of each delivery for accurate bookkeeping as well as resolving any disputes regarding the items or supplier..
• Manage and verify all documentation in the shared folder for each loading, including the PO, Signed DO from camp boss, GRN, and Loading Report.
• Provide suggestions/feedbacks for the improvement of the execution of tasks and working instructions.
• Follow up on operational deliveries and mitigate contractual risks.
• Develop system of Vendor acceptance and audit, and maintain the Approved Vendor List
• Assist Management in ad hoc tasks to achieve goals in line with the Company’s vision and benefits, such as pricing analysis for tender purposes, ISO achievements, etc.

• Must have experience in managing offshore catering operations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a variety of people of all levels, good organizational and planning skills, strong negotiation and analysing skills, good business sense and budgeting skills.
• At least 2-4 years working experience with procurement.
• Independent, analytical and a persuasive negotiator.
• Strong skills in account management.
