Job Title: Procurement Engineer

Location: Singapore

Work Hours : Rotational Shift , including Sunday

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve project objectives.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify material requirements and timelines.
• Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, including RFQs, purchase orders, and reports.
• Analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management within the engineering or construction industry.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

Operations

• To process order from Workshop and Warehouse Department
• To manage goods receiving process and ensure proper checking & inspection of goods are done
• To report discrepancy issues arising from Goods Receiving
• To update Order Tracking Report and Goods Receiving Report and ensure on the accuracy
• To assist Warehouse Executive in diesel ordering, deployment and coordination with site personnel

Project & Departments

• To process order from project sites and internal departments
• To manage end-to-end order fulfillment from the order to goods delivery
• To manage returned goods from project sites and internal departments
• Responsible for assets creation and disposal e.g. container, ECM plant, weight bridge & etc
• To update Assets Master List and Mobile Web Apps for rental items
• In-charge of logistics arrangement related to assets deployment and movement
• To ensure all assets are calibrated and serviced according to schedule
• To conduct site inspection half-yearly for rented assets
• Responsible to raise Purchase Requisition
• To ensure proper storage of items on timely manner
• To manage the received feedback forms and responsible to close it
• To support Warehouse operations when required which includes pick, pack, receiving, putaway, loading, unloading and/or operate forklift / stacker
• To assist with Warehouse's Annual Stock-Take Activity and cycle count
• To ensure timely updating of data into system and accuracy of data
• Maintain the proper filling and document control for all processes
• Ensure safety practices and housekeeping is to maintained to the highest standard
• To perform ad-hoc duties as per assigned

Requirements

• Certificate / Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• Computer skills and Microsoft Office
• Location in Sungei Kadut Workshop until the workshop in Jalan Papan is ready

Purchasing Officer – 5 Days

Work Location: Bukit Batok (West)

Job Responsibilities:

· Source and assess potential suppliers for instrument components, materials, and procurement products locally and overseas.

· Identify and evaluate new suppliers while reviewing existing suppliers.

· Communicate with suppliers and place orders for high-quality products and materials.

· Maintain positive supplier relations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and lead times, ensuring on-time delivery.

· Collaborate with suppliers on delivery scheduling, quality issues, component specifications, and certification requirements.

· Arrange training for engineers with suppliers as needed.

· Monitor & manage project costings closely to achieve cost savings.

· Monitor and manage inventory.

· Work with engineering, workshop, and assembly teams to achieve cost savings and on-time deliveries of orders.

· Enforce procurement policies and procedures.

· Perform ad-hoc administrative duties as required.

Job Requirements:

• GCE’O’ level or Diploma.

• Min 2 years’ working experience in procurement function.

• Self-driven, self-motivated and proactive.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
