The role
The objective of this role is to deliver consulting services for Managed Print Services opportunities and provide support and direction to the direct sales team in the growth of Konica Minolta Business Solutions Australia’s portfolio of Managed Print Services.
As a pre-sales consultant, you will be directly engaged with clients to identify business challenges and utilise a consultative selling approach to assess and analyse their IT environment and provide optimised solutions and services which address their challenges and strategic goals.
The primary responsibilities:
• Engage with sales teams to identify opportunities for Managed Print Services and provide leadership on strategy deliver to customers
• Assess and analyse current state and future state solution recommendations to meet customer objectives
• Present and articulate the business benefits and outcomes of Manged Print Services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead the commercial modelling of opportunities for sales team to present to the customer
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders focusing on common goals, sharing, supporting and coaching where appropriate
• Champion the value and benefits of Managed Print Services to external and internal customers
Ideal skills
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic professional who will be viewed as a “trusted Advisor” to our clients and sales team.
Desired skills and experience
• Relevant sales experience, ideally in managed print services and software solutions, with a proven track record in achieving results
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel (PowerBI experience would be desirable)
• Strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate with and influence stakeholders
• Strong understanding of Print and Imaging technology solutions and services
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to clearly articulate in both verbal and written form
• Demonstrates strong initiative and the ability to work independently to achieve objectives with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated ability to work calmly and maintain good judgment in fast-paced, environments, as well as ability to escalate appropriately
