About The Role:
This is a 12-month contract role.
Job Description:
1. Collaborate with project engineering team: Ensure seamless integration of project requirements into operational systems.
2. Oversee operational concept development: Optimize for long-term production efficiency and compliance with Brazilian regulations.
3. Take overall responsibility: Plan for start-up, ramp-up, operation, HSSE, production, and OPEX performance of the asset.
4. Align Operations teams: Integrate with other Brasil ventures and collaborate on project execution.
5. Manage Shell Brasil stakeholder relations: Facilitate project deliverables and decisions.
6. Ensure HSSE readiness: Prepare the Asset Owner Organization and service providers.
7. Own the OPEX & Production Promise: Optimize production, downtime, and OPEX requirements and project plans.
8. Manage Risk process: Identify and address threats/opportunities related to asset start-up and operations.
9. Champion Owner requirements: Support Project to Asset transition.
10. Influence design choices: Ensure operating integrity and operability.
Job Requirements:
1. Leadership Experience: Team Leadership: 7-10 years leading teams. Proven track record managing engineering teams, project interfaces, and company leadership
2. Experience: 12-15 years in Oil and Gas technical roles, with proven experience with Floating Production, Storage and Offloading Unit (FPSO) and Deepwater activities.
Competencies Required:
• Skilled on the Brazilian Regulatory framework
• Experience with Brazilian Governmental agencies and regulator interfaces,
• HSSE leadership experience with demonstrated sound technical decision making.
• Skilled in production Operations of topsides systems, Surveillance, Maintenance Systems, HSSE expectations
• Technical and Relationship Skills: Blend of technical ability, leadership capacity, and operational understanding.
• HSSE Decision-Making: Demonstrated sound technical judgment in HSSE leadership.
• Cross-Disciplinary Integration: Ability to work across engineering disciplines for successful delivery.
• Stakeholder Management: Handle internal and external relations at tactical/strategic levels.
