As the Environmental Mobilisation Readiness Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards, developing and implementing mobilisation plans, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for successful execution.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement environmental mobilisation plans and strategies to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify and address environmental risks and opportunities.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of environmental mobilisation activities.
• Collaborate with government officials, contractors, and other stakeholders to promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices.
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of environmental mobilisation efforts and implement improvements as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant environmental legislation and best practices in Saudi Arabia.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 (ten) years-experience in environmental management across an array of economic sectors, ideally with contractual and formal auditing experience
• Strong initiative, communication & stakeholder management skills.
• Strong technical environmental skills across terrestrial, marine and coastal environments
• Strong people management and mentoring skills
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
• Strong experience in developing technical environmental guidelines to serve as contractual contracts and implementation during construction & operation.
• Strong experience in identifing and mitigating key environmental risks.
• Experience in conducting environmental audits to evaluate compliance against environmental readiness plans
• Must have as minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences (or related discipline) and ideally a Master’s degree.
• Proven experience in environmental management, preferably in a mobilization readiness context.
• Experience of mega-project compliance assurance program management is required.
• Experience in managing infrastructure construction projects is desirable.
• Lead auditor qualifications and experience are desireable.
• Experience in the development of reporting tools is required.
• Experience in managing PMC activities at a client / consultant level is desirable.
