Responsibilities:
· Ensures that projects are clearly defined with measurable objectives/outcomes and are properly governed throughout the project lifecycle so that intended objectives are achieved.
· Develops and tracks performance metrics; schedule risk and financial performance of assigned portfolio of projects.
· Plans and manage the ongoing changes to project portfolio demand and capacity constraints so that needs are properly forecasted and opportunities for optimization are identified and incorporated.
· Implements an effective Safety culture within the project (including contractors & subcontractors) and steward implementation of safety processes and procedures that ensure SSH&E expectations are met.
· Supports project development planning, contracting, and execution, organization planning, and contracting strategy development.
· Develops current working practices to successfully deliver major international EPCIC Projects & Operations.
· Provides input to the development of the Topsides/Jacket Engineering, Procurement &
Construction Strategy.
· Responsible for Mechanical Completion and delivery of all Topsides Modules and Jacket in accordance Structures in accordance with schedule.
· Responsible for consistency in the design, construction, quality and completion of Topsides modules and Jacket structures across all Strategic partners and sub-contractors.
· Attends and provide critical inputs to Engineering, Procurement and Construction progress review meeting.
· Identifies project issues and ensuring appropriate action to resolution.
· Manages and ensures successful execution of project or project component to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, Cost, Schedule, and others, as appropriate).
· Implements Project Strategies to achieve overall Project Objectives.
· Leads the identification of execution strategy options which enable and support the value.
· Participates in project execution strategies, studies and/or initiatives; leads and ensures quality of execution planning workshops.
· Develops resourcing requirements for contracting, procurement, and execution planning
· Establishes the Project Interface Management Plan. Manages internal Company interfaces (Functional departments, business units, etc.).
· Ensures timely resolution and alignment of key interface issues among all stakeholders and management.
· Participates in project deliverables needed from external stakeholders to achieve overall Project Objectives.
· Develops Project Execution group strategies that are aligned with objectives.
· Leads and manages relationships with Sub-Contractor(s) for applicable scope of work and facilitates issue resolution.
· Utilizes appropriate leading and lagging metrics to ensure desired performance and takes appropriate corrective actions as required.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline.
· Expert to advanced level proficiency in major capital project management
· Proven general management capability, leadership, mentoring, and supervisory skills
· Sets and achieves high standards; adaptable to changing priorities
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, general interest mindset, ability to address conflict constructively
· Minimum 10 years extensive oil and gas project experience in major capital projects
