To provide the following functions for the NCS Group of companies as part of Singapore Telecommunications Ltd, in Singapore, HKSAR, Australia and other countries in Asia Pacific where its subsidiaries are located or where projects are pursued and to be delivered:

1. Reviewing contracts, tenders, vendor agreements (for hardware, software and services) and related documents in compliance with the contract policy, proposing amendments and highlighting and advising on and proposing solutions in relation to contractual issues, legal and commercial risks to the business proposal teams.
2. Negotiating with counterparties as required by the business proposal teams.
3. Preparing applications for exceptions approval in accordance with the contract policy.
4. Conducting legal training for the legal team, business and project staff, including the preparation of training materials.
5. Rendering legal advice in support of corporate functions.
6. Supporting periodic audit exercise (by SingTel and internal departments) on the company and the legal department.
7. Other duties – reviewing policies and processes of legal function, collating and analysing data, preparing reports and policy papers for the general improvement of the legal function and processes.
8. All necessary reporting and liaison with parent company for above responsibilities, including periodic litigation reporting.
9. Any other function as assigned from time to time.

Job Description

• Assist Operations Manager in managing daily operations on site, including conducting regular site visits, manpower planning and timely performance reporting for billing purposes.
• Assist Operations Manager in ground incident management and investigations, including conducting After Action Review (AAR) of any ground occurrence.
• Responsible for the onboarding process of new hires. Duties will include conducting induction briefing and quarterly refresher training to Security team.
• Plan and schedule training for staff in alignment with all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Plan and conduct periodic Red-teaming and/or Tabletop exercises to ensure the vigilance of security personnel.
• Co-ordinate with management team and work with clients’ management to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) activities to ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Management.

Requirements

• Prior working experience in a similar operational management role, ideally within the security industry and/or previous working experience in local law enforcement agencies such as SPF, MHA, etc.
• A valid security industry licence or accepted certificate of security competence
• Good track record of working in a fast paced and demanding environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, interacting both internally and externally.
• Strong problem solving and incident management skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet operational objectives and deadlines.
