• Able to highlight legal risks/exposures involved, identify possible breaches and non-compliance under applicable laws and regulations as well internal procedures and policies and offer mitigating solutions.

Overall Purpose Of The Job (Brief description of the primary purpose of this position)

Responsible for fulfilling all types of assistance for medical, security and logistical related requests originating through the Assistance Centre from clients and subscribers. Deliver high quality service, through effective case management, bringing swift and accurate resolution to situations presented. Execute cases with high standard customer service and working collaboratively between operations, medical and security specialists.

To provide an empathetic and efficient delivery of the whole range of 24-hour assistance services and general customer service programmes to our members.

Service Delivery:

• Provide operations and logistics expertise in the understanding and fulfilment of requests for assistance from our clients and subscribers, in collaboration with medical and security professional colleagues.

• Probe clients and subscribers who contact the Assistance Center to ensure that the request for assistance is understood and acted upon in every instance.

• Document all matters relating to these requests using the telecommunication and computer systems made available by the organisation.

Principal Security Operations Engineer

Job Description:

1. Developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
2. Leading the design and implementation of security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
3. Conducting regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
4. Responding to and investigating security incidents and breaches, and implementing measures to prevent future occurrences.
5. Managing and monitoring security systems and tools to detect and respond to security events and threats.
6. Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure security best practices are followed during system and software development.
7. Providing guidance and support to junior security operations engineers and other team members.
8. Staying up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, and making recommendations for improvement.
9. Participating in incident response and disaster recovery planning and testing.
10. Collaborating with external vendors and partners to ensure the security of third-party systems and services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in security operations, network and systems administration, and incident response
• Experience with programming languages (Rust is a plus), Embedded Systems, Hardware peripherals.
• Familiarity with Operating System Security (e.g. Linux, Windows).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• 6+ years of professional experience in hardware and firmware security.
• Chinese speaking to liaise with Chinese counterparts
