Job Scope details:
Conduct initial meetings to gather requirements and understand the existing infrastructure.
Document the project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Assessment and Planning:
Assess the current infrastructure and network setup.
Plan the VDI deployment, including resource allocation and network configuration.
Design:
Design the Omnissa architecture, including core components, and DR site setup.
Create detailed design documents covering all aspects of the deployment.
Implementation (DC and DR):
Deploy VMWare Hypervisor and vSphere components (vCenter, vSwitch)
Deploy Windows server machines, Microsoft SQL server, Windows KMS server, Vmware dynamic environment manager and App volume server
Configure Vmware Horizon/Omnissa for users.
Set up the DR site with replication and failover configurations.
Create and deploy master images for VDI desktops.
Implement user profile management and policies.
Provisioning of VDIs for users
Testing and Validation:
Conduct thorough testing of the VDI environment, user testing and failover tests.
Validate the setup with user acceptance testing (UAT).
Training and Documentation:
Provide knowledge transfers for administrators and end-users.
Deliver comprehensive documentation, including as-built documents and operational guides.
Go-Live and Support:
Assist with the go-live process and provide post-deployment support.
Required Loca Cat 2 Clearance prior to onboard candidate.
