Job Responsibilities: 

• Provide Level 1 & 2 end user support which includes application support, 
  maintenance and configuration in a timely and efficient manner 
• Be part of the team in planning, execution and implementation of IT 
  infrastructure and technologies 
• Prepare documentations, technical specifications and user guides for 
  implementations of new or upgrades of IT infrastructure 
• Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for 
  data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures. 

Job Requirements: 

• Candidate must possess at least an Advanced Diploma / Bachelor's Degree, in 
  Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. 
• 4 to 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this 
  position. 
• Good support knowledge in networking, hardware, application support and 
  implementation. 
• Familiar with Microsoft server technologies. 
• Good IT Security and troubleshooting skills. 
• Able to write and prepare good IT documentation. 
• Trustworthy, hardworking, committed to the task assigned. 
• The ability to work flexibly under pressure, be self-motivating and prioritize 
  unscheduled as well as scheduled work. 
• Independent and able to work well with others. 
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Customer Service-IT Support to join our team. The incumbent will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems by providing prompt and effective support to employees. You will be the first point of contact for all IT-related issues, helping users with troubleshooting, software installation, hardware maintenance, and more.

Job Description:  

• Effectively diagnose and resolve IT support requests related to computer systems, hardware, software, and applications.
• Proactively address and resolve both employee and client inquiries, concerns, and complaints regarding IT functionality, equipment, policies, and related technical issues.
• Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of technical issues and implement appropriate solutions.
• Perform configuration changes, adjust settings, and manage permissions to resolve technical problems efficiently.
• Streamline the onboarding process by creating new user accounts and ensuring seamless access to necessary systems.
• Manage software and hardware installations, maintaining up-to-date drivers and applications across employee devices.
• Provide consistent and clear updates to employees and clients on the status of their support requests.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all service interactions and ticket statuses.
• Identify and escalate complex issues that require advanced technical expertise beyond your scope.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Thorough understanding of commonly used operating systems, software applications, and hardware peripherals.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen actively, gather information effectively, and explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong written communication skills for composing detailed support logs and informative user guides.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues logically and systematically.
• Effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a productive workflow.
• Ability to multitask efficiently and provide prompt assistance to multiple users simultaneously.
