HR Data Administration Team LeadHybrid – attached to the Solihull officeFull Time, Permanent Salary

- £37,622 (dependant on experience) Here at Serco, we are looking for an organised and enthusiastic HR Data Administrator Team Lead who will provide an accurate and efficient core HR administrator service for approximately 25,000 employees. You will work in unison with the HR Service Centre Team, to achieve or exceed the SLA targets by coordinating the team’s daily work tasks, identifying opportunities for improving processes and developing the team of HR Administrators.
In this key role, you will support team members with their day-to-day work tasks / service requests and develop their skills and knowledge to ensure an active, realistic succession plan is in operation. As well as ensuring the service requests are well organised, prioritised and delegated to team members on a daily basis ensuring work is complete with the agreed SLAs.
As part of this you’ll:
- Support team members with processing employee data and maintaining organisational structures in SAP HCM (PA & OM).
- Ensure SLAs/ KPIs are successfully achieved.
- Set the teams annual objectives and undertake monthly catchups with team members.
- Co-ordinate project and BAU activities
- Regularly feedback service requirements to the HRIS manager.
- Provide guidance, support and impact analysis for BAU activities that impact organisational and people data across the Serco landscape.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that projects which impact HR systems, data or processes are successfully transitioned to BAU.
- Recommend changes to systems, processes, forms etc that improve customer experience.
- Ensure data is transacted appropriately in core HR platform and interfaces correctly to downstream systems.
- Manage escalations and complaints and raise any concerns/ risks appropriately.
What you’ll need to do the role:
- A good understanding of common HR processes with a track record and sound knowledge of HRIS solutions and utilisation of same in a complex multi-site, multi-national matrix type business environment.
- Strong problem analysis, stakeholder management and project management skills, with the ability to change priorities in line with fluctuating business demands. You will also be able to influence and work collaboratively across multi-functional teams and effectively manage direct and indirect team efforts.
- Have in-depth understanding of all Serco Corporate systems that hold people and organisational data on both a regional and global basis, and how the systems interact with each other.
- Experience leading teams and working to SLAs and meeting KPIs.
- Knowledge and experience of SAP HCM.
- Knowledge and experience of SNOW (ServiceNow) or other ticketing tools.
- Knowledge of the employee life cycle and experience of administrating changes and updates.
- Good working knowledge of Excel.
- Have an up to date understanding and application of employment law and HR best practice, as well as generic payroll systems knowledge.
