Step Teachers are looking for a Food Technology Teacher for a long-term role starting in September 2024. The school is a “Good” Ofsted-rated institution where teaching is effective, and pupils make good progress.
Food Technology Teacher - Role:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic Food Technology lessons to students of varying abilities.
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Provide individualized support to students to help them overcome barriers to learning.
- Utilise innovative teaching strategies to ensure all students achieve their full potential.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and professional development activities.
Food Technology Teacher - Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience as a Food Technology Teacher in a UK-based school.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Food Technology.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
