What is the job like?

·       Coordinating and delivering the annual budget, medium term plan and monthly forecast for the OES Group’s financial performance and capital investment plan

This is a temp to permanent opportunity for the right individual, with an initial 6 month contract. This role will suit an experienced Finance Analyst who looks to broaden experience and career in a progressive team and supportive organisation.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a high performing team and also autonomously manage own workload
• Strong financial modelling skills (advanced MS Excel skills)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fluid environment and manage competing priorities
• Experience developing long term plans and business cases
• Experience in the education industry or online learning is a plus
• Undergraduate degree (ideally Finance/Accounting/Commerce) and either part or fully qualified CA or CPA

Funding Societies Vietnam is looking for a mid-level to Senior Credit Analyst to perform analytical tasks and evaluate risk presented by small and medium sized enterprises. Analysts will review bank statements, financial statements history, credit reports, assets, invoices, purchase contracts, etc. Additional responsibilities include entering data into the client’s loan operating system, utilizing an automated underwriting system to determine approval, performing KYC checks, and clearing conditions for final approval.

What you will do:

• Collect, review, and verify loan applications, supporting documentation, and vendor reports to identify signs of fraudulent activities
• Analyze the level of risk for lending, request additional information and conduct site visits as necessary
• Prepare underwriting reports and submit to Credit Committee for approval
• Offer recommendations on eligibility decisions and approve/reject applications
• Communicate with loan officers and managers to maintain a case-by-case follow-up for potential clients
• Re-assess risk when policies come up for renewal
• Resolve pre- and post-closing issues as they relate to underwriting
• Other tasks assigned by line manager

What you will need:

• Completed Bachelor and/or Master’s degree within Business, Finance, Accounting or related fields
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in finance, accounting, and credit analysis
• Overall knowledge of commercial business and regulations that specifically affect SME credits
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Strong English skills, Problem-solving and Analytical skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural team, and outside of business hours when necessary
• Capability to do complex vintage analysis using statistical packages
• Understand IFRS 9 ECL provisioning
• Ability to be able to draft coherent policies in English
•  Experienced in training staff on fraud detection

Jobs Responsibilities

• To ensure timely review of alerts from Group approved AML transaction monitoring system, escalations on suspicious AML/CFT activities from business/support units and cases arising from other relevant sources
• To ensure timely submission of suspicious activity/transactions reports to the relevant law enforcement authorities or Financial Intelligence Units
• To provide relevant and emerging AML/CFT risk issues from analysis of suspicious activity/transactions reports submitted.
• Prepare and submit suspicious activity/transactions reports to the relevant local law enforcement authorities
• Perform analysis of suspicious activity/transaction reports
• Ensure proper documentation and record keeping of reviews and investigation cases
