We're looking for an experienced and motivated senior manager to support, influence and expand our submarine cable investments for the future growth of Microsoft fast-paced production environment—you must be agile , have financial acuman and able to analyse strategically while adapting to changing conditions and priorities.
The successful candidate will need excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills. You will be working with people from many different teams and backgrounds requiring an open and growth mindset. You must be able to negotiate effectively, influence others and work cross-functionally to achieve broad goals. A proven track record of successfully managing subsea cable investment & construction projects, successful past & existing experience in building subsea cable systems for telecom companies, subsea cable operators or major cloud or major technology corporations. Managing stakeholders (consortium members, investors, telecom license landing partners, regulators etc.) is a crucial skillset that needs to be demonstrated resulting in measurable impact to be successful in this role.
