About the Role:

To design, develop, and optimize scalable data infrastructure and pipelines, enabling efficient data processing and storage.
Work independently, resourceful while also being a good team player.

What You'll Do:

Building distributed systems that communicate internally and externally mainly based on REST and messaging.
Assist with reviewing and interpreting business and technical requirements with a focus on data objectives of the product.
Identify requirements and develop data delivery solutions.
Implement company policies on data access and data distribution.
Support members of various teams to determine database structural requirements by analyzing their applications and client operations.
Collaborate with highly talented engineers while striving to help them build their skills and achieve their career goals
Support data flow and ETL processes from end to end for projects and initiatives including troubleshooting of data issues, integrity checks, data model design, querying of data, and performance resulting from data issues.
Assist in training over the data systems used by the company for the employees. Specifically, training programs for new hires on various reports and models available in the data visualization tools that are used.
Analyze large data sets, some of them messy, to answer and solve real-world business problems while charting paths towards data cleanup and preventing data from becoming messy.

What We're Seeking:

Familiarity with financial and banking products
Demonstrated skills in good software engineering practices.
Building and shipping large-scale engineering products and/or infrastructure
Scalable data architecture, fault-tolerant ETL, and monitoring data quality in the cloud (We use Alibaba Cloud)
Collaborating with a diverse set of engineers, data scientists and product managers
Deep expertise in data engineering and data processing at scale. Requires a focus on the development of pipelines for the creation of data lakes to enable exploration as well as machine learning model training, deployment and scoring at massive scale.
Familiarity with data science techniques and frameworks
The modern cloud stack combined with technologies such as Java and Python

Job Responsibilities:

Assist Project Manager to plan, organize, direct and implement the operations and administration of the branch / project in all functional and key result area.
Good understanding on customer’s requirements and current market trends in construction, oil & gas and/or other sectors/industry.
Assist Project Manager to take care of all company assets & materials at project site and to keep proper inventory of the assets & materials.
Work together with Project Manager to determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing and monitor payment collection for project.
Responsible and become a connecting reference personnel between branch and HQ in the absence of Project Manager.
To monitor and assist in doing progress claims, supplier claims, subcontractor claims, payments, collections etc.
Assist Project Manager in terms of manpower requirement, material sourcing, monitoring the project schedule and work orders distribution.
To attend project site meeting with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, authorities and other relevant parties to ensure smooth progress in the project execution.
To visit project sites to ensure project is in progress as per the schedule.
Maintains safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Assist Project Manager to maintain and improve the cost position of branch through continues improvement plan.

Job Requirements:

Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent in the relevant field.
Having 1–2 years’ experience in engineering/construction field as Operation/Project Engineer will be an advantage.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Application (Ms Word, Ms Power point, Ms Excel, Ms Project).
Software: AutoCAD or other equivalent.
Good communication and negotiation skills and high level of integrity.
Organized approach and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision & guidance.
Willing to Re-locate according to Project's location
