Training Design of Training Development Project

Designing and aligning Learner-centric Pedagogies into each Training Development project – using an established templated framework, to meet the defined Learning Objectives.

Training Development work

• Development of new Lesson Plans (LPs) and review of existing LPs to incorporate/align with the latest Lesson Objectives, Content, and Methods of Instruction (MOI) required to meet the desired Training Outcomes.

• Qualifications or certificates in Training Development or Instructional Design from WDA, NIE or an accredited training institution such as the Institute of Higher Learning (IHL), or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of education/training industry-related working experience.

Duties:

• You will be responsible for managing and conducting survey fieldwork for the research study. The fieldwork will consist of household interviews.
• You will hire and supervise a team of part-time student research assistants (RAs) to conduct face-to-face household interviews.
• You will supervise the planning, preparations, logistics, communications, documentation, and administrative aspects of the fieldwork.

The Opportunity:
The role of the Senior Research Scientist/Team Leader in Human-Robot Interaction is to lead a team of researchers and engineers to conduct innovative research leading to scientific achievements that are aligned with CSIRO’s strategies. The Senior Research Scientist/Team Leader may lead scientific activity ranging from fundamental research to the investigation of specific industry or community problems. The Senior Research Scientist/Team Leader will have the opportunity to build and maintain networks, play a lead role in securing project funds, provide scientific leadership, increase the reputation of the team and group internationally, and pursue new ideas and approaches that create new concepts.

The Robotics Design and Interaction group is looking for a senior research scientist with a strong track record of research leadership in human robot teaming. The successful candidate will have experience leading researchers and trainees with algorithm and interface development, human-robot experiments with real robot systems and a passion for working on real-world problems. They will fill a critical role in a multi-year project of national significance drawing upon broad capabilities from across CSIRO to deliver societal impact from our science, particularly in human-robot teaming and robotics in unstructured environments. The role will be highly rewarding, working with multi-disciplinary research scientists and engineers solving real-world problems. The candidate will have exposure and access to world leading field robotics research teams at CSIRO during the tenure, with opportunities for broadening their knowledge and skillset.

The researcher will have the ability and willingness to broaden their skillset to include the capability growth areas within Robotics and AI. The Robotics and Autonomous Systems group will be providing the candidate with close guidance and mentorship to encourage and facilitate this along with learning and growth opportunities through appropriate learning material, courses, seminars, workshops etc.

Job Purpose: The EPD Admin Team Leader will work collaboratively and co-operatively with colleagues across the organisation, in relation to Education and Professional Development, to support and develop a workforce with the skills, knowledge and competence necessary to deliver safe, effective patient care and to enhance the quality of service delivery. This will include attending meetings and liaising with service leads and staff to ensure the EPD team are equip to design, implement, and evaluate training solutions to meet the organisational needs. The post holder will contribute to the Education & Professional Development strategy, in support of the Trusts objectives, specifically contributing to the annual Trust training needs analysis (TNA), mandatory and role essential training requirements and the management of the Oracle Learning Management System (OLMS). The post holder will provide day-to-day supervision and have line management responsibilities for junior members of the EPD admin team, escalating any ongoing/significant issues to the Education and Professional Development Lead. Duties and Responsibilities: Management of the Education and Professional Development Admin Support Team, including PPDR processes, sickness and absence management and any other HR processes required, planning rotas as required and allocation of duties to ensure smooth delivery of the EPD agenda.
