A day in the life of a Care Manager

- To support the Registered Care Manager in implementing a robust quality service that promotes high quality standards and outcomes for users of care services.

- To support the Registered Care Manager with the day-to-day running of the Care Branch.

- Efficiently manage and be accountable for the day-to-day running of the branch business.

- Managing the Assistant Care Manager, Quality Assurance and Care Co-ordinators.

- Efficiently support and manage the Care Co-Ordinator’s and Quality Assurance Officers within the team, in the absence of the Registered Care Manager and to actively maintain the day-to-day running of the branch business in their absence.

- Maintain all aspects of the staff team and provide sound leadership to ensure staff are clear about their respective duties and responsibilities and have the support they need to carry out their roles safely and effectively.

- Allocate resources and monitor performance to deliver high quality home care to customers within budget.

- To provide support towards the regulatory body CQC for Domiciliary care.
