Job Description:
As a Strategic Consultant your main responsibility will be to impart digital transformation within the construction industry by guiding clients through the implementation of BIM/VDC/CDE technologies and workflows. Your role will be critical in driving digital innovation, increased efficiency, and profitability for your clients. The following are some key responsibilities of the role:
1. Develop and execute strategies: You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that will enable your clients to transition to adopt BIM/VDC/CDE technologies and workflows. This will require deep industry knowledge, understanding of the various technologies and software platforms, and experience in successful implementation of BIM/VDC/CDE.
2. Identify client requirements: You will work with clients to understand their business requirements, including their objectives, goals, and constraints. Based on these requirements, you will develop customized solutions that will help them achieve their goals.
3. Create and implement plans: You will create and implement comprehensive plans that outline the process for transitioning to BIM/VDC/CDE technologies and workflows. This will include defining milestones, timelines, deliverables, and resources required.
4. Provide training and support: You will provide training and support to clients to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively use BIM/VDC/CDE technologies and workflows. This will include both in-person and online training sessions.
5. Facilitate collaboration: You will facilitate collaboration between different teams and stakeholders involved in the construction process, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, partners, and vendors.
6. Stay up to date on industry trends: You will stay up-to-date with the latest trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the construction industry. You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for your clients to leverage new technologies and methodologies to improve their operations and profitability.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's/ Master’s/ PhD degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, IT or a related field from top-tier universities
• Proven experience in the successful implementation of BIM/VDC/CDE technologies and workflows
• Strong knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong project management skills
• Willingness to travel as needed.
