We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage all aspects of the contractual and financial side of our construction projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the successful completion of projects within budget and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs.
• Manage the procurement process, including preparing tender and contract documents.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular financial reports.
• Conduct risk, value management, and cost control.
• Negotiate with contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Advise on legal and contractual issues.
• Manage project changes and variations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 years of local experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the construction (Civil Engineering/Building) sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
