Design and Technology Teacher
Location: Derby
Start date: September
Salary: £150-£200 per day (dependant on experience)

The school is looking for someone who has previous experience teaching Design and Technology, up to KS5 level and is confident in their ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons, with a proven track record of helping students to achieve great results.
Successful applicants will have:
- QTS specialising in Design and Technology (early career teachers are also encouraged to apply)
- At least 6 months of experience teaching Design and Technology up to KS5 level and achieving fantastic results from the students
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- A passion about inspiring students to reach their full potential

The role - Design & Technology Teacher
This wonderful Secondary School has a unique and exciting opportunity within their Design Technology department for a strong teacher who is looking for an interesting and varied role teaching a combination of Design Technology, Graphics with Food Technology.
This is a newly created position in which they are keen to appoint someone who is willing to stretch themselves as well as their students, teaching a diverse curriculum. The post offers an ideal opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT to develop professionally and to contribute to future whole school improvement. The post would suit an ambitious and driven teacher seeking a stimulating, supportive working environment.
Whilst subject knowledge in all three areas would be beneficial, it is not essential. For the right person, the school will provide full training around subject knowledge where necessary.
