Key Responsibilities:

Financial Closing & Reporting:

• Lead the monthly financial closing process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
• Prepare and submit periodical financial reports in accordance with deadlines.

General Ledger & Accounting Records:

• Maintain proper and up-to-date accounting records and a systematic filing system.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions in the general ledger.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Manage cash flow and ensure all accounts are reconciled in a timely manner.

Banking & Treasury:

• Reconcile bank and merchant statements regularly.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Reconciliation & Issue Resolution:
• Conduct accounts reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and follow up on reconciling items or unresolved issues Investigate and resolve outstanding matters in collaboration with relevant departments.

Audit & Tax Support:

• Assist with audit preparations, including providing necessary documentation and answering audit queries.
• Support the preparation and submission of tax-related documents and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Liaise with internal departments (finance, procurement, operations) and external parties (auditors, tax agents, bankers) to resolve accounting-related issues.
• Act as a point of contact for accounting inquiries and external audits.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles.
• Experience in managing general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks)
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and external stakeholders.
