Responsibilities:
1. General:
- Report to the Chairman and the Director of Finance (in Hong Kong).
2. Accounting:
- Oversee accounting and financial operations including maintaining full set of accounts and daily accounting operations.
- Oversee internal control and tax compliance including prepare and submitting all annual statutory filings, tax filings and GST filings.
- Oversee banking operations including monitoring the bank accounts, preparing payments and wire transfers.
- Oversee the BVI companies’ filings and reporting.
- Liaise with vendors including bankers, auditors, tax authority, government agencies, BVI agents, and so forth for accounting and finance matters.
3. Administration:
- Responsible for full spectrum of human resources functions including but not limited to employee attendance, payroll calculation, CPF administration and leave management, compliance with labour laws and regulations, etc.
- Responsible for full spectrum of office administrative/ procurement functions including offices services and supplies, insurance, IT, repair and maintenance, leasing and tenancy renewal, etc.
- Liaise with vendors including government agencies, insurers and so forth for human resources and other administration/corporate matters.
4. Property management:
- Manage the administration/corporate matters of the properties owned by the company.
- Liaise with vendors including government agencies, property agencies, property management company, insurers and so forth for property corporate matters.
5. Others
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Certified qualified accountant, and bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in an all-rounded accounting function.
- Experience working in a family office with a diverse role would be an advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin would be an advantage).
- Experience in using Quickbook Accounting System.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Chinese word processing.
- Detailed-minded, well-organized, strong sense of responsibility and able to work independently and under pressure.
- Stable working history, and willing to stay with the company in long-term.
