The role:
This role is to provide maternity cover for a 6-month period.
The goal for this role is to bridge the gap between ALIVE’s senior management and the account management team, overseeing client campaigns and growing existing client business. This pivotal role requires a forward-thinking, solutions-driven individual, with the ability to manage and inspire a young ambitious team, whilst also managing upwards to the company directors and sideways to clients. Success will be measured against the seamless delivery of projects, the effectiveness of campaigns against the client’s brief, the profitability of campaigns against agency targets, as well as the relationships formed both internally and externally.
The successful candidate will be based in Singapore but will also be required to travel and work across APAC.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading and advising the junior team across core areas of day-to-day business including finance, field operations and client service
- Be the brand guardian and creative director for your team’s projects, respecting brand guidelines and finding creative solutions to business problems that are clearly communicated to the creative team
- Contributing to business growth by supporting business development initiatives alongside senior business managers
- Add value to pitches, proposals and projects through natural intelligence, sector & industry knowledge, and experience of best-in-class campaigns
- Apply critical thinking and analytical capabilities to marketing and client service challenges
- Develop strong, positive relationships with both clients and suppliers, representing ALIVE in a professional manner at all times
- Contribute to the development and implementation of ALIVE’s processes, policy and culture – lead by example
Sector experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within an agency environment at a senior level
- Key competencies:
- A true brand experience champion and integrated thinker with a passion for driving the experiential discipline forward through innovation and fresh ideas
- Solid experience of team management demonstrating outstanding leadership and motivational skills
- Exceptional account management skills – able to demonstrate profitability against targets, meet deadlines and generate reports for internal and external purposes
- Strong communication and presentation skills – able to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, suppliers and partners
- Accountability, natural curiosity and common sense coupled with conviction – have the confidence to consider a solution, make a decision and be prepared to defend it
- Experience of working with and managing creative teams to ensure work is delivered to brief and on time
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail – be able to effectively juggle several projects at one time
