Actimize Developer
Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid: 3 days onsite/week)
Duration: 8-Month Contract (Potential Extension)
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Actimize Developer with expertise in ActOne & STAR to provide production support, configuration, and enhancements for a critical financial crime case management platform hosted on AWS. This role focuses on BAU support (~50%), Actimize configurations (~30%), and Java-based feature development (~20%). Join a collaborative team supporting enterprise financial crime systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver production (BAU) support for Actimize applications, including troubleshooting, log analysis, and incident resolution.
- Perform configurations and customizations using Actimize tools like ActOne Designer and Visual Modeler.
- Develop and enhance features using Java.
- Utilize SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting in case management workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including offshore partners, on enhancements and improvements.
- Leverage Python/PowerShell scripting for automation as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Actimize (ActOne required; STAR preferred).
- Strong Java development skills.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Experience in AWS cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows platforms.
- Understanding of financial crime/AML domain (preferred).
Preferred Skills
- Python or PowerShell scripting.
- DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines).
- Actimize configuration tools (ActOne Designer, Visual Modeler).
- Banking or financial services experience.
Interview Process
One 1-hour panel interview (no coding test).
Work Environment & Additional Details
- Hybrid: 3 days onsite in Richmond, VA (Mon-Thu flexibility; Fri WFH).
- Must be onsite from Day 1 (relocation OK if available immediately).
- Contract-only role (no conversion).
