Title: Python Developer – Snowflake Automation Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid) Position Type: Contract Interview Mode: In-Person
This role requires a highly analytical professional who can understand business objectives, evaluate technical solutions, and develop efficient systems that improve operational workflows and data processing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation solutions for enterprise data processing and integration.
- Build and support automated data exchange solutions with external partners and systems.
- Develop and optimize Snowflake-based data solutions, including Snowpipe and User Defined Functions (UDFs).
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Review existing systems and recommend enhancements to improve performance, reliability, and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
- Create detailed technical documentation, workflows, and process specifications.
- Support data ingestion, transformation, and reporting processes within Snowflake environments.
- Participate in system analysis, solution design, testing, and deployment activities.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional experience with Python development.
- Strong experience designing and implementing automated data processing solutions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on complex technical initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing automated data exchange solutions with external partners.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake database development.
- Experience building and managing Snowpipe solutions.
- Experience developing User Defined Functions (UDFs) in Snowflake.
- Experience developing custom user interfaces integrated with Snowflake solutions.
