About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Python Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex enterprise-grade applications, data-intensive services, and automation platforms. You will play a key role in building robust, secure, and high-performance Python systems that operate reliably within distributed and mission-critical environments. This position requires a hands-on engineering approach, with a focus on delivering scalable solutions that meet stringent uptime and reliability standards. You will collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and infrastructure teams to translate complex business needs into well-engineered technical solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of Python programming, software architecture, data engineering, and operational support, with the ability to proactively identify root causes of issues and elevate engineering standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum of 6 years of applied Python development experience in enterprise environments
• Proven experience building and maintaining large-scale production applications with high availability requirements
• Hands-on experience with relational database systems such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Sybase, including query tuning and schema design
• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support
• Experience with system design, application development, automated testing, and operational support
• Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and computational efficiency for optimized application performance
• Ability to debug and maintain complex enterprise applications in production environments
• Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, application resilience patterns, and secure coding standards
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams

• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve system capabilities
