The Role
• Guide the modernization of software systems by managing infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and software deployment.
• Integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline for DoD applications, collaborating with development, operations, and security teams.
• Implement and automate security tools and processes within CI/CD workflows.
• Support the configuration and management of security tools, such as static and dynamic application security testing.
• Participate in incident response activities and monitor security alerts.
• Document security policies, procedures, and best practices for development teams.
What You'll Need
• US Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance, eligible to obtain SCI.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience or a Master’s Degree with 2+ years of experience.
• DoD 8140 intermediate certification or DoD 8570 IAM Level II certification or higher.
• Experience with software design patterns, programming languages, and development paradigms including CI/CD and Agile planning tools.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC), Linux/Windows operating systems, and networking protocols.
• Experience with container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
