Job Title: Full Stack Software Engineer
Location: Fully Remote
Contract Type: Contract-to-Perm
Pay Rate: Up to $70/hr on Apex W2
Conversion Salary: $130k–$150k/year
Overview
Currently hiring 3-4 software engineers to join an established federal program focused on enhancing and modifying existing systems. This is a backend-heavy full stack role with significant Java development responsibilities, alongside UI work using modern frameworks. Ideal for engineers seeking long-term growth in a remote, cloud-based environment.
Requirements
- 6–8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong backend development with Java (10+), currently using Java 17
- Spring Boot expertise
- Frontend experience with React (Angular acceptable)
- RDBMS experience (PostgreSQL or Oracle preferred)
- Basic SQL querying skills
Highly Preferred Skills
- AWS (especially Lambda functions)
- Experience in cloud-native environments
- Kafka
- Experience upgrading to React 18
Additional Notes
- Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder (No sponsorship available now or in the future)
- Must be willing to be screened for a Public Trust Clearance
