The Immigration Integration Branch oversees immigrant integration efforts in California. The Refugee Programs Bureau (RPB) supports and oversees the provision of social services to refugees and other vulnerable populations. The RPB Operations Unit shepherds and supports departmental and inter-departmental initiatives and programs that foster the integration of all refugee populations. The RPB Operations Unit supports all of the bureau's operations and oversees the data, funding, research, and automation efforts of the bureau.

  • Describe your experience with interpretation and application of regulations, statutes, policies, and/or procedures.
  • Describe in detail your experience in planning, organizing, and writing a report. How would you review written materials for completeness, consistency, and identifying deficiencies? What would you do if your managers told you that it was not what they wanted or disagreed with your recommendations?
  • Describe your experience working with data. What role or tasks did you have in developing or using databases/spreadsheets? Describe what steps you would take to gather, organize, and check a large amount of data collected from other organizations. What steps would you take to ensure data integrity and quality control?
