2. About the Opportunity:

The Program Manager leads the delivery of Cybersecurity Architecture and Engineering Services for the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Information Security Cybersecurity Operations Systems Engineering program. This role is responsible for overall contract execution, stakeholder engagement, resource management, and ensuring the successful achievement of cybersecurity and modernization objectives. The position serves as the primary interface with government leadership and oversees multidisciplinary teams to align complex initiatives with strategic goals.

3. Responsibilities:

• Provide executive leadership for contract activities and deliverables.
• Serve as the main contact for government leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage multidisciplinary cybersecurity teams across architecture, engineering, AI, supply chain risk management, compliance, and knowledge management.
• Direct program planning, staffing, risk management, resource allocation, and performance reporting.
• Ensure delivery of cybersecurity initiatives aligned with strategic objectives.
• Lead program governance, executive briefings, and customer engagements.
• Oversee quality management, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Coordinate technical priorities across architecture, engineering, risk management, and modernization efforts.

4. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Information Security, Information Resource Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of Information Security experience.
• Minimum 5 years supporting cybersecurity and cloud security programs within large federal agencies or enterprise environments.
• Experience leading programs for agencies comparable in size and complexity to the VA, DoD, IRS, or GSA.
• Knowledge of FedRAMP, RMF, ATO processes, cybersecurity architecture, security engineering, and cloud modernization.
• Acceptable degree substitution: IAT III, IAM III, or IASAE III certification may substitute for a relevant bachelor''s degree or four years of relevant experience.
• One or more certifications from PMP, IAT Level III, IAM Level III, or IASAE Level III.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The anticipated salary range for this position is $180,000.00 to $190,000.00 USD, subject to experience, location, and contractual requirements.
