About The Role
The Program Manager will coordinate complex initiatives across engineering, product, security, and operations for a cloud-based technology platform. The role brings structure to programs involving system launches, infrastructure improvements, platform reliability, and internal tooling.
You will turn technical strategy into executable plans, align teams on milestones and dependencies, and keep delivery moving from discovery through rollout. The work matters because reliable cross-functional execution directly affects product quality, customer experience, and engineering velocity.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive cross-functional programs spanning software releases, cloud infrastructure, security initiatives, and platform operations
- Build and maintain program plans, roadmaps, dependency maps, RAID logs, and executive status reports using Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tools
- Coordinate engineering and product teams through planning, execution, testing, launch readiness, and post-release review
- Establish operating rhythms including standups, milestone reviews, risk reviews, and stakeholder updates
- Track delivery metrics, identify schedule and resource risks, and escalate decisions with clear recommendations
- Improve program processes, documentation, and tooling to increase predictability across multiple technical workstreams
- Partner with engineering leaders to define success metrics and measure outcomes after launch
What We Are Looking For
- 3-8 years of program, project, technical operations, or delivery management experience in a technology environment
- Experience managing software development or cloud infrastructure programs involving multiple engineering and business teams
- Working knowledge of Agile development practices, SDLC, release management, and common engineering workflows
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Asana, Smartsheet, or comparable program-management tools
- Strong ability to translate technical details into clear plans, decisions, risks, and executive-level communication
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, security compliance, data platforms, or SaaS product launches
