About The Role

The Node.js Developer with AWS at Compunnel will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing cloud-native applications utilizing Node.js and AWS services. This hybrid position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that involve serverless architecture, machine learning integration, and cloud infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Node.js development, coupled with extensive experience working with AWS cloud services such as Lambda, ECS, and Step Functions. This role requires a proactive mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions. Based in Malvern, PA; Charlotte, NC; or Dallas, TX, the position offers flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of the organization and its clients.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications:

• Proven hands-on experience in developing applications using Node.js.
• Strong familiarity with AWS cloud services, including Lambda, ECS, and Step Functions.
• Experience designing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure, including VPC configurations and security components.
• Proficiency in developing and orchestrating serverless workflows using AWS Step Functions and Lambda functions.
• Background in developing machine learning pipelines and feature engineering solutions.
• Experience integrating applications with AWS Fraud Detector for fraud prevention and detection.
• Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk and Amazon CloudWatch for operational troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Excellent troubleshooting, application development, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  
  

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

• Design, develop, test, and optimize Node.js applications that seamlessly integrate with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, and Step Functions.
• Architect and deploy scalable, secure, and reliable AWS cloud infrastructure, including configuring Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) and security groups.
• Create and manage serverless workflows to automate complex business processes, leveraging AWS Step Functions and Lambda functions.
• Implement machine learning pipelines, including feature engineering and model deployment, to support advanced analytics initiatives.
• Integrate applications and machine learning workflows with AWS Fraud Detector to enhance security and fraud prevention measures.
• Utilize monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk and CloudWatch to ensure system health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop technical solutions, and ensure best practices are followed for cloud-native development.
