The Role
- Support and facilitate cross-team communication, acting as a bridge between development and infrastructure teams
- Own systems and service monitoring, as well as software deployments
- Organize and execute deployments, utilizing tools like Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
- Research and create proof-of-concepts for new technologies and processes to enhance the SDLC
- Document new and existing processes, technologies, and tools for future supportability
- Act as a knowledge source for problem resolution across teams
What You'll Need
- Proven experience in CI/CD, SRE, or Systems Engineering roles (5+ years of IT engineering experience in an enterprise setting)
- Strong experience with Git or equivalent version control systems
- Strong experience with systems or service monitoring tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of TCP/IP Networking, Linux/Windows server administration, and VM administration
- Experience with web technologies (client/server/api/load balancers/certificates) and CI/CD pipeline tools like Octopus, Jenkins, TeamCity
- Familiarity with automation/orchestration (Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
