About The Role
ICF is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining cloud-based healthcare reporting solutions utilizing AWS infrastructure. This position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology, including Infrastructure as Code, automation, and monitoring solutions, within a collaborative environment that values continuous learning and growth. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and managing cloud infrastructure, developing CI/CD pipelines, and implementing automation strategies to enhance system performance and security. The role requires engaging with diverse technical stakeholders across application development, security, networking, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence. The position offers flexible work hours aligned with Eastern Time, with options to start earlier or later depending on the candidate’s time zone, fostering a healthy work-life balance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines with open-source plugins
- At least 3 years of experience working in DevOps, Agile, and Scrum environments
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience with configuration management, cloud orchestration, and automation tools in AWS
- At least 2 years of experience in automating continuous integration and deployment processes
- Extensive experience writing infrastructure as code using Terraform (minimum 5 years)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance
- Legal authorization to work in the United States and residency in the U.S. for at least three of the last five years
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions in AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Deploy, configure, and manage AWS services, ensuring scalable and reliable infrastructure setups
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders across application development, security, networking, and infrastructure teams
- Automate application and infrastructure deployment processes to optimize efficiency and consistency
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery of features, fixes, and updates across development, testing, and production environments
- Set up, integrate, and maintain scalable CI/CD tools supporting development, security scanning, and testing
- Implement monitoring solutions such as Amazon CloudWatch and third-party tools to provide real-time system insights and performance metrics
- Translate functional and non-functional business requirements into technical operational specifications
- Analyze system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and security
- Participate in team efforts to innovate and push boundaries in cloud infrastructure and automation
