The Role
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Develop, test, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services, and modern web technologies.
- Contribute to an agile development environment with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
- Implement unit tests, remediate SonarQube findings, and develop technical documentation.
- Periodically assist with Help Desk troubleshooting and end-user issue resolution.
- Support cloud-based deployments and infrastructure using AWS services and various databases.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in application or Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+), Spring Boot, and RESTful web services.
- Experience with front-end technologies including React (18+), Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JSON.
- Familiarity with MVC architecture, JDBC, Node.js (22+), Struts 2, Maven, and JQuery.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases like Oracle 19c, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
- Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
