Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade Java applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, cloud technologies, and database development. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
• Develop RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code following best practices.
• Participate in system design, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Integrate applications with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Work closely with DevOps teams for CI/CD deployments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical documentation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA.
• Strong experience with Microservices Architecture.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Maven, Gradle.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools.
• Experience working in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of unit testing using JUnit and Mockito.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Redis, ElasticSearch, or Apache Camel.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and API Security.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Exposure to Event-Driven Architecture.
• Java certifications are a plus.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
