The Role
• Design, build, and modify application software using programming languages such as Java, ColdFusion, JavaScript, and C#
• Utilize design patterns like MVC, web services, SOA, and microservices
• Integrate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products, leverage APIs, and interact with data repositories
• Maintain existing codebases and develop new code using container technologies like Kubernetes
• Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code meets functional requirements
• Apply secure coding techniques and adhere to government system security requirements
What You'll Need
• High School diploma with 0-3 years of application development experience (or equivalent experience)
• Active Secret clearance required
• Hands-on experience developing software in languages such as Java, ColdFusion, JavaScript, or C#
• Working knowledge of design patterns, including MVC, web services, SOA, and microservices
• Familiarity with secure coding principles and government security requirements
