Senior Front-End Developer (React / TypeScript)

Simpalm Staffing is looking for a highly experienced Senior Front-End Developer for one of our direct clients in Dallas, TX, USA.

In this role, you will lead the development of scalable, high-quality web applications across desktop, mobile, and tablet platforms within a modern microfrontend ecosystem. We are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer with strong expertise in React, TypeScript, scalable front-end architecture, and modern development practices who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, production-grade applications.

• Architect and develop scalable front-end applications using React and TypeScript
• Build and maintain shared component libraries used across multiple product teams
• Lead front-end best practices around performance, maintainability, and code quality
• Collaborate closely with back-end engineers, QA teams, designers, and product owners
• Design reusable, scalable UI systems and microfrontend solutions
• Optimize application performance across devices and browsers
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and CI/CD processes
• Utilize modern development tooling and AI-assisted workflows to improve productivity

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in front-end development.
• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript, including strict mode, advanced generics, utility types, and type-safe API contracts
• Deep expertise in React 18+, including hooks, context API, performance optimization, and scalable component composition
• Strong experience designing and maintaining microfrontend architectures
• Experience building and managing shared component libraries consumed across multiple product teams
• Hands-on experience with React Query for server-state management, caching strategies, and async data fetching
• Solid understanding of Auth0 and token-based authentication flows, including multi-tenant configurations
• Proficiency with CSS Modules and SCSS, including theming, responsive design, and design token systems
• Experience working with Storybook 7+ for component documentation, versioning, and developer experience enhancement
• Strong experience with Vite (library mode, ESM/CJS output) or equivalent modern build tooling
• Strong Git workflow experience, including branching strategies, pull request reviews, semantic versioning, and CI/CD integration
• Experience writing unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library
• Comfortable using MSW (Mock Service Worker) for contract-driven development and test isolation
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs with strong attention to error handling and type safety
• Ability to work collaboratively in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams

• Experience with Material UI (v6) and advanced theming patterns
• Familiarity with semantic-release and automated release pipelines
• Experience working with Figma, including design token extraction and design-to-code workflows
• Background in the InsurTech industry
• Familiarity with GraphQL
