Pros: The team culture is genuinely collaborative and supportive. I learned a lot about developing scalable SaaS products. The flexibility in daily schedules was a major plus, allowing for a decent work-life balance overall. Leadership was generally approachable, and project ownership was common.
Cons: The primary drawback is the compensation package. While benefits are decent, the base salary and bonus structure lag behind competitors in the Bay Area tech scene. Career progression can feel a bit slow for engineers who aren't in management tracks. There's room for improvement in how talent is recognized and rewarded financially.
Advice to Management: Focus on aligning compensation and benefits more closely with current market standards for tech roles in the Bay Area to retain top engineering talent.
