Solid learning environment, but job security has been a question mark.
Pros: The team I worked with was fantastic, very collaborative and always willing to help me learn the ropes as a junior developer. The company offers a lot of flexibility, allowing for remote work which was great for my work-life balance. There are good opportunities to pick up new skills and contribute to different parts of the SaaS product development lifecycle.
Cons: However, there have been a couple of rounds of restructuring recently, which definitely made me question job security. While my role wasn't directly impacted, the uncertainty was unsettling. Processes for getting approvals on new features or code changes could also be a bit slow at times, which occasionally impacted sprint velocity.
Advice to Management: Consider clearer communication strategies during periods of organizational change to alleviate employee concerns about job security. Streamlining approval workflows could also boost efficiency.
