Pros: I liked the general hybrid model they offered. As a Software Engineer, I could usually pick my in-office days, which helped with focus time. It's nice to avoid the worst San Francisco commute times too.
Cons: The 'flexible' part felt a bit forced sometimes. We had set anchor days in the San Francisco office. This limited real flexibility compared to other tech industry roles I've seen.
Advice to Management: Managers should truly empower teams to decide their work environment. Don't force unnecessary in-office days if the work can be done just as well remotely.
