PhysioWorks is a unique clinic that delivers Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy services, with a focus on functional movement and an emphasis on patient education. Our principal focus is the rehabilitation of the injured worker.
Our clinics service all types of orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to orthopedic injury foot and ankle, knee, shoulder, lower back pain, hand therapy, balance issues, deconditioning and vestibular issues. We are also experts in the workers’ compensation process for the injured worker.
The occupational therapy component of the rehabilitation team guides the worker in the replication of the actual job requirements through job simulation activities.
Our patients receive custom, one on one programs with personal and online support to create a successful rehabilitation plan. We communicate with the physicians, vocational counselors, and case managers to keep all concerned informed on the patient’s progress, treatment plan, and discharge goals.
You will not find a clinic that is more dedicated to successful rehabilitation than PhysioWorks.

Pros: The patient caseloads are manageable, allowing for quality one-on-one time, which is great for PT outcomes. The facility in Kent, WA is well-equipped. I appreciated the autonomy in treatment planning and the collaborative spirit among many of the therapists.
Cons: While there's flexibility, sometimes staffing shortages can strain the team, impacting work-life balance during busy periods. Opportunities for advancement into management roles could be clearer.
Advice to Management: Consider more structured career paths for senior therapists and ensure consistent staffing to maintain excellent work-life balance for the dedicated team.

Pros: PhysioWorks provides a consistent work environment, which is great for job security. The focus on delivering high-quality patient care is evident, and I've learned a lot from experienced colleagues in this allied health setting. The team atmosphere is usually collaborative and supportive, making daily tasks enjoyable. It feels like a secure place to build a career in physiotherapy.
Cons: While there's good stability, the path for career progression beyond senior roles isn't always clearly defined. Sometimes, during peak periods, the administrative workload can feel a bit overwhelming, impacting the balance between patient treatment and operational tasks. More structured professional development pathways would be beneficial for long-term growth within the company.
Advice to Management: Consider implementing more defined career progression frameworks for physiotherapists and allied health professionals. Offering more specialized training or mentorship programs could further enhance skill development and retention. Streamlining some administrative processes during busy times might also improve overall efficiency.

Pros: The best part of working at PhysioWorks was the genuine focus on patient outcomes. We used evidence-based practices and had good equipment. The team was supportive, and collaboration between therapists was encouraged. It's a solid option for anyone looking to practice outpatient physical therapy in a community clinic setting.
Cons: Administrative duties sometimes encroached on clinical time, and scheduling could occasionally feel a bit rigid, impacting work-life balance on busy weeks. Communication from upper management could also be more consistent. These were minor issues in an otherwise good role.
Advice to Management: Consider streamlining administrative processes and enhancing transparent communication channels to further boost team morale and efficiency.
