Pros: You've got steady hours, which is nice if you like routine. For us on the production floor, especially in compressor manufacturing, it's pretty clear what your schedule will be. There's no guessing.
Cons: Work flexibility isn't really a thing here. As a Manufacturing Engineer, I'm expected onsite daily at the Flowery Branch office, which is common in the HVACR industry but still tough. Remote work options are almost non-existent for engineering roles.
Advice to Management: Consider offering hybrid options for some engineering positions. It would really help with retention and modernizing the workplace culture.
