Solid flexibility and teamwork in IT consulting
Pros: The biggest perk is definitely the work flexibility offered, which aligns well with the fast-paced IT consulting industry. As a Project Manager, I found the teams here to be very collaborative and supportive. People genuinely help each other out, which makes tackling complex projects much smoother. There are opportunities to learn new skills and take on diverse responsibilities, contributing to a good work environment.
Cons: While flexibility is great, it can sometimes feel like there's a lack of clear direction from senior leadership regarding long-term strategy. Communication could be more consistent, especially during peak project phases. Sometimes approval processes for resources or decisions can feel a bit slow, which can impact project timelines. It's not a dealbreaker, but improvements here would be beneficial.
Advice to Management: Focus on improving top-down communication regarding company strategy and project priorities. Streamlining approval workflows could also significantly boost efficiency and employee morale.

Good company, room for growth and clearer leadership
Pros: The best part about working at Stellar is the genuine sense of community among the team members. Everyone is generally willing to lend a hand, and it feels like a supportive environment day-to-day. The job security is also a major plus, especially in this industry, so you don't often worry about layoffs. It's a stable place for manufacturing roles.
Cons: My main feedback is around leadership visibility and communication. Sometimes initiatives or changes feel like they come out of nowhere, and there's not always a clear explanation of the 'why'. Also, while there are some training opportunities, significant career growth pathways aren't always clearly defined or easily accessible for entry-level to mid-level positions in operations.
Advice to Management: Increase transparency with team updates and clearly outline career progression paths. More frequent, open forums with leadership would really boost morale and engagement across departments.

Reliable Manufacturing Work, Leadership Could Be More Forward-Thinking
Pros: The job security at Stellar was definitely a major plus, and I always felt like I had a stable paycheck. The colleagues I worked with, particularly on the shop floor, were great – really supportive and team-oriented. Benefits were standard for the industry and location. It's a dependable place if you need consistent employment.
Cons: While leadership communicates general goals, there's often a disconnect between senior management and those on the ground. Strategic decisions sometimes feel slow or out of touch with the operational realities of our manufacturing processes. I often wished for more investment in modernizing equipment or training for emerging industry tech.
Advice to Management: Focus on fostering more direct communication channels between senior leadership and frontline staff. Investing in continuous training for new manufacturing technologies would also be a great step forward.
