Pros: The team environment is really collaborative. I've learned a ton about cloud-based software development and agile methodologies. My immediate manager is approachable and provides helpful feedback. The remote work setup offers great flexibility, which is a huge plus for my work-life balance.
Cons: Sometimes project priorities can shift quickly without much notice, leading to periods of intense workload. While leadership is present, strategic decisions and company direction aren't always clearly communicated down to the engineering teams. More transparency on long-term goals would be beneficial.
Advice to Management: Consider implementing more consistent communication channels for major strategic shifts. Clearer articulation of long-term vision would help align teams and manage workload expectations during busy periods.
