Loop Foundation (LoopRoot Foundation) exists to break down the barriers families face when incarceration separates them from their loved ones. We provide safe and reliable transportation to correctional facilities, financial relief through our LoopConnect visitation credits, and supportive services that restore dignity, stability, and opportunity.
Our mission is to keep families connected and to reduce cycles of incarceration by addressing the core challenges that prevent successful reentry. Through LoopTalk mental health check-ins, LoopHousing transitional and affordable housing support, LoopLegal reentry legal aid, and LoopJobs workforce development, we help families and returning citizens rebuild stronger foundations for the future.
We are also developing Community Support Centers, where children and families can access mentorship, computers, recreation, and educational resources. These programs ensure that no child or parent is left behind simply because of incarceration.

Pros: I've enjoyed my time at LoopRoot Foundation. The mission is meaningful and the day-to-day work as a Program Coordinator is engaging. My colleagues are fantastic, very supportive, and we really function as a team. There are good chances to pick up new skills and take on varied responsibilities, which helps with career development in the non-profit industry.
Cons: While the leadership team is generally well-intentioned, their communication can sometimes be a bit unclear, especially regarding strategic shifts or project priorities. This can make planning harder. Also, the pay and benefits, while fair for a non-profit foundation, are not as competitive as in the for-profit sector, which is something to consider.
Advice to Management: Focus on more transparent and frequent communication from leadership regarding organizational goals and changes. Consider exploring ways to enhance the benefits package or compensation structure to remain competitive.
