The HYBRID 75% model for BCBAs means I get to serve clients in Silver Spring, MD, but also have dedicated time for indirect work at home, which is a huge plus. The team culture is very collaborative, and there's a strong emphasis on evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis practices. We get good opportunities for professional development as a Licensed Behavior Analyst, keeping us updated in the behavioral health field.
Cons: Sometimes the administrative workload for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst can feel a bit heavy, especially during peak periods. While the overall communication is good, clarifying some of the approval processes for specific therapy materials or program changes could be smoother. It's a minor point, but improving efficiency there would free up more time for direct client engagement.
Advice to Management: Streamline administrative tasks to allow BCBAs more time for clinical work and direct client support. Continue fostering open communication channels.
