Pros: The best part of working at Interfile has to be the people, especially in the engineering department. My colleagues were incredibly smart, supportive, and always willing to help out. We worked on some genuinely interesting projects in the FinTech space, and I learned a lot. The company culture, at least within my team, fostered a good sense of collaboration and innovation.
Cons: While the work itself was engaging, the pay and benefits package wasn't quite as competitive as some other FinTech companies I've seen in the New York area. There were also occasional communication gaps from upper management regarding strategic direction, which could be a bit frustrating. Improving transparency on company-wide decisions would be beneficial.
Advice to Management: Consider reviewing compensation benchmarks for senior roles and enhancing communication channels with all employees regarding strategic goals and changes.
